I never thought I’d see Michael Keaton again as Bruce Wayne / Batman, but here we are! It’s happening, and his involvement is the only reason I have any interest in these upcoming DC movies like The flash And Bad girl. In a recent interview with Variety, Keaton talked about playing Batman again and explained why, saying:
“It sounded funny. I was curious as to what it would be like after so many years. Not so much for me doing it – of course, partly – but I was just curious about it, strangely, socially. The whole thing is gigantic. They have their own world. completely right. So, I like to look at him like a stranger, thinking ‘Good heavens!’ “
This echoes the comments Keaton had previously made, saying:
“When he came back around, first of all, I was getting curious. I thought, ‘Guys, what would that be like?’ And then, coincidentally, there were murmurs, and I got a call from Warner Bros. They wanted to talk to me about something and there were hints of Batman, “Keaton said of his return to The Flash while he appeared on The Jess Cagle. Show at the end of last year. “It has to be good. There’s no reason to do it if it’s not good. Nothing’s really going to change. And I just jumped in and enjoyed it. And why shouldn’t you? You know, I mean, director Andy Muschietti is awesome, and it’s really creative. I don’t know. It’s fun. “
The flash is directed by Andy Muschietti (It), with a script of Cristina Hodson (Birds of prey, Bad girl). He is the protagonist Ezra Miller like Barry Allen / The Flash, Ben Affleck like Batman, Sasha Calle like Supergirl, Kiersey Clemons like West Iris, Ron Livingston like Henry Allen, Maribel Verdu like Nora Allen, Ian Loh as a young Barry Allen, as well as Saoirse-Monica Jackson And Rudi Mancuso.
Bad girl is directed by Adil El Arbi And Bill Fallaand stars Leslie Graceand is flanked by Brendan Fraser like the bad guy, JK Simmons as Commissioner Gordon, e Jacob Scipio assuming an unknown role.
The flash theatrical release is scheduled for June 23, 2023. Bad girl is expected to arrive on HBO Max in late 2022.
