Muslim List Announces Selected Authors for Second Grade Contest; MPAC H’Wood, Blacklist and Pillars Fund Authors Selection Partner

Special: Talk show meetings, justice, the state’s response to the Iran hostage crisis of the 1970s, and a child’s belief against trans identity are the stories that make up the second annual Muslim list.

Collaboration between The Blacklist, the Hollywood Office of the Muslim Public Affairs Council, and the Pillars Fund once again selected 10 authors from hundreds of submissions for this final chapter. The deadline for the second Muslim list was February 28.

First announced in September 2020, the list aims to increase the depth and diversity of the voices of Muslim writers and storytellers on both the big and small screens. So, producers, agents, and A-listers, check out the full list of 2022 cliques below.

“Last year I said it was an honor to partner with MPAC and the Pillars Fund, and it’s doubled this year,” said Blacklist CEO Franklin Leonard today. said. “These scripts and writers are incredibly exciting and I look forward to seeing this and other stories on any screen in the not too distant future.”

It is worth noting that Salim Gondal, one of the winners of last year’s Muslim List, is the thesis film.
