
A trailer has been released for Apple TV + ‘s upcoming dark drama series Bad sisters. The show follows five sisters who “are bound together by the death of their parents and the promise to always protect each other”.
The show is written and created by the BAFTA winner Sharon HorganI know mainly as an actress in films like Game night And The unbearable weight of massive talentbut he also created other series such as Catastrophe, divorce, HomelandAnd Worth shining. He also stars in this series along with Anne-Marie Duff, Eva Birthistle, Sarah GreeneAnd Eva Hewson, who play the Garvey sisters. Joining them are Claes Bang, Brian Gleeson, Daryl McCormack, Assad Bouaband newcomer You know Quinn.
The synopsis reads:
“A delightful blend of dark comedy and thriller, the series follows the lives of the Garvey sisters, who are linked by the untimely death of their parents and the promise to always protect each other. When their brother-in-law ends up dead, his life insurers launch an investigation to prove malicious intent and set their sights on the sisters, who all had ample reasons to kill him. “
It sounds like such a good series, and while some might consider these sisters bad, I just consider them tough. Can’t wait to watch! Bad sisters will premiere on Apple on August 19 with the first two episodes, followed by a new weekly episode every Friday through October 14. Watch the trailer below:
