Being that time of year, a lot of things in the culture of comics will be revealed. This is just one I’ve been looking forward to for a while.

Around the time of the release of The Batman at the cinema, Director Matt Reeves And Paolo Dano revealed that a comic would be created that would give the origin of The Riddler. Thanks to Comic-Con we were given the cover and some panels of the comic The Riddler: Year One.

“For many fans of movies and comics, Paul Dano’s portrayal of the Riddler in Matt Reeves’ The Batman it was probably one of the most chilling and terrifying incarnations ever seen in a Batman movie, “DC said when The Riddler: Year One was announced. “This October, fans will have the opportunity to learn more about the Riddler’s origins Riddler: Year Onea six-issue bimonthly DC Black Label series, written by The Batman actor Paul Dano, with designs by acclaimed European illustrator Stevan Subic, making his DC debut. This series explores the background of how accountant Edward Nashton went from a mere Gotham City nobody to Batman’s nemesis, putting them on a collision course in the blockbuster film. “

I really like the art of this. I’m curious to see what this comic contains. Let us know what you think.
