First look at the photo of Hugo Weaving and Phoenix Raei in the Australian drama THE ROOSTER

A first photo was released from the Australian drama film, The roosterhero Hugo Tessitura (Lord of the Rings, The matrix) And Phoenix Raei (Clickbait). The film follows a small-town cop who discovers the dead body of his best friend. Raei plays “the policeman who confronts the fickle character of Weaving, a hermit living in the forest who was the last known person to have seen his friend.”

They are joined in the cast by Helen Thomson (Elvis, On top of the lake), Rhys Mitchell (Cake, Medium-high bogan), Bert La Bonte (Survive the summer, Five bedrooms), Giovanni Waters (Offspring, Road Mystery), Camilla Ah Kin (Wakefield, Holding the man), Robert Menzies (Small tornadoes, Glitch) And Deirdre Rubenstein (Force of fate, Superb).

The film, which has just completed principal photography in the state of Victoria, is written and directed by the actor Marco Leonardo Winter (Escape from Pretoria), making his debut as a feature film director. Weaving and Winter previously appeared together as actors in the films Measure by Measure And The seamstress.
