DRAGON BALL: THE BREAKERS will launch in October with a close network test in August

Bandai Namco announced it Dragon Ball: The Breakers will launch on October 14 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam and will be compatible with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S. They will also hold closed network tests that players can sign up for with Raider Freeza, Raider Cell, Survivor Oolong, and Survivor Bulma available to play. Here is the program of these tests:

• Session 1: August 5 – 7pm PT – 11pm PT

• Session 2: August 6 – 5:00 PT – 9:00 PT

• Session 3: August 6 – 11am PT – 3pm PT

• Session 4: August 6 – 7pm PT – 11pm PT

This game looks super fun and the perfect kind of game for the Dragon Ball franchise. Eight players will face seven survivors against a powerful marauder who is one of the main antagonists of the franchise. The marauders try to kill all the survivors while the survivors use various gadgets, the most valuable being the transpheres which contain the souls of the super warriors and great abilities and special powers, to escape the enemy and finally use the Super Time Machine to escape before they you also become the powerful marauder. You can now pre-order a physical copy of the game that will give you the Android 18 Transsphere (Skill: Wall Kick) and a Scouter accessory (blue). There are a few editions that will be available, so here’s the breakdown of what comes in each one:

• Standard Edition (digital only) *

  • This includes a full copy of DRAGON BALL: THE BREAKERS, an Android 18 transsphere (Skill: Wall Kick), and a Scouter accessory (blue).

• Special edition

  • This includes the full game, a customizable costume, a dragon vehicle skin (yellow), a good two-handed victory pose, an Android 18 transsphere (Skill: Wall Kick), and a Scouter accessory (blue).

• Limited Edition Pack (Bandai Namco Store Exclusive)

  • This includes the full game, all exclusive Special Edition content, an Android 18 transsphere (Skill: Wall Kick), a Scouter accessory (blue), a DRAGON BALL: THE BREAKERS themed Steelbook, an exclusive Cell Shell figure and the Potara (Green) Accessory which is an exclusive timed bonus from the Bandai Namco Store.

The game looks really fun to play, although I think they could have done better with the trailer-based graphics.
