It’s San Diego Comic-Con and the fans in attendance got a first look at the main title Dan Povenmire’S (Phineas and Ferb) upcoming show Hamster and Gretel. Well, Disney Channel also reached out to GeekTyrant and was kind enough to let us exclusively share that first look with those who weren’t able to attend the panel. In case you are unaware of the show, it follows brother and sister Kevin and Gretel who will be given super powers when something goes wrong and instead of Kevin, Gretel’s pet hamster named Hamster gets powers. It sounds great fun and Povenmire has a good track record.
Disney Branded Television’s superhero comedy Hamster & Gretel follows Kevin and younger sister Gretel, who are about to receive super powers from space aliens. But something goes wrong and it’s Gretel and her pet hamster (named Hamster) who suddenly have new skills. Now, protective older brother Kevin must figure out how to partner with Gretel and her pet hamster to protect their city from mysterious dangers.
You can tune in to Hamster and Gretel on Disney Channel and Disney XD on August 12th. Also, on the same day a music album will be released and given the goodness of the music for Phineas and Ferb And Milo Murphy’s law they are, this is sure to be full of bangers. The series is the protagonist Meli Povenmire like Gretel; Michele Cimino (With love, Vittorio) as Gretel’s older brother Kevin; Beck Bennett (SNL) in the role of Gretel’s pet hamster, Hamster; Joey King (Kissing booth) as his tech-savvy cousin, Fred; Matt Jones (Bob Hearts Abishola) as the brothers’ accommodating father, Dave; And Carolina Ravassa (Maya and the Three) like their charismatic mother, Carolina. Additionally, the following people will play recurring characters: Priah Ferguson (Stranger things) as Gretel’s best friend Bailey; Liza Koshy (Lisa on request) as journalist Veronica Hill; Alyson Stoner (Phineas and Ferb) And Brock Powell (Phineas and Ferb The movie: Candace against the universe) as the evil brothers duo Lauren and Lyle aka The Destructress and FistPuncher respectively; and the feel of viral rap Akintoye as Kevin’s trusted friend Anthony. If you like guest stars, this series will have a lot of them! Jenny Lorenzo (Vittorio and Valentino) in the role of Carolina’s mother, Abuelita; legendary latin pop star Karina La Voz like the tear-jerker La Cebolla; YouTube star Thomas Sanders (Phineas and Ferb The movie: Candace against the universe) as Neighslayer, a brotherhood boy; TikTok star Casey Hamilton (@MrHamilton) as Gretel’s mild-mannered alternate teacher, Mr. Chabner; And Adam Rosa (Happy Happy Whatever) as the evil jingle writer The Earworm.
