Mario Strikers: Battle League announced its first free update and two new characters have arrived along with other goodies. The new characters are Daisy who is a technical character and the all-around shy guy. Personally, I wish these characters were incorporated from the start, but at least they’re free. Other parts of the update include Desert Ruin Stadium and knight-themed gear. The new gear will increase your strength and shooting at the expense of your other attributes.
Daisy – Whether attacking or defending, Daisy’s high technique, skillful passing and flower spiral Hyper Strike will keep opponents guessing!
Shy Boy – Balanced in all attributes, Shy Boy is always eager to take the field, regardless of position. Plus, Shy Guy’s Propeller Dive Hyper Strike is a force to be reckoned with.
Knight-Themed Gear – When equipped, this equipment increases strength and shooting attributes at the expense of other attributes.
Desert Ruin Stadium – Take heart in a new stadium that looks like desert ruins. In addition to using the Desert Ruin stadium in matches, you can also set it as your club’s stadium!
