Jena Malone stars in the trailer for the independent drama that adopts Audrey

A new trailer has been released for the quirky indie drama Adoption of Audreyhero Jena Malone (Stepmother, Saved!), who plays an adult woman who wants to be adopted. She is joined in the cast by Robert Hunger-Bühler, Brooke Bloom, Will RogersAnd Emily Kuroda. The film is written and directed by Mike Cahill (King of California, Another Land).

Here is the synopsis of the film:

“Audrey (Jena Malone) is a restless woman in a constant state of transition, but she craves more permanent roots. She eventually, proposing to be adopted by an adult, she makes contact with a family and forms an unlikely bond with the misanthropic patriarch. “
