Steven Spielberg directed the music video for Marcus Mumford’s new single “Cannibal”.” He recorded a music video for the first time in his legendary career.
Mumford confirmed the news on social media, saying that Spielberg shot the entire video from his cell phone in one go (see tweet and Instagram post below). Mumford also announced on social media that Kate Capshaw served as producer, Dolly Gripp served as artistic director for the shoot at the New York City high school gym, and Carey Mulligan provided the costumes and voice.
Cannibal and Mumford & Sons lead solo album released self-titled Coming on September 16. He announced the project while sitting with Brandi Carlyle at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles last month as they were releasing their new song “How.”
