Emilia Clarke, known for her role as Daenerys Targaryen in “Game of Thrones,” has made some harsh statements in which she is honest about how she survived the two brain aneurysms she suffered while filming the series.. In an interview for the BBC’s Sunday Morning, the British actress acknowledged how lucky she is to be alive: “I belong to the very small minority of people who can survive this”.
Clarke suffered the first episode in 2011 after filming the first season of the popular HBO series, while the second took place in 2013. Both cases required several emergency operations in which the actress was about to lose her life. Since then, the Mother of Dragons has revealed that she has lost parts of her brain that have become totally unusable: “The part of my brain that can no longer be used … it is remarkable that I can speak, sometimes articulate, and live my life completely normal and without repercussions”. “Really missing a lot”the actress added between laughs. “In strokes, as soon as a part of your brain stops receiving blood for a second, it’s gone. The blood finds a different path to move, but then any missing part disappears.”.
Fortunately, Clarke has left these problems behind and is completely healed.. So much so that since last July 6 she has returned to the world of theater through the role of Nina in “La Gaviota”. The show has since taken place in London’s West End.
