Recently, Eric Kripke, creator of the Amazon Prime Video superhero series, thanked Kein Feige for his Marvel Cinematic Universe. And now, “The Boys” expands with “Gen V”, its second spin-off which will be a satire of “The Hunger Games”, and the university series.

According to SlashFilm, ‘The Boys Presents: Varsity’ changed its name to ‘Gen V.’, which will be the first live-action spin-off set in the Amazon Prime Video superhero series, and the second after’ Diabolical ‘. This show will feature pro-Vought modified youth who received Compound V.

Now, the first official synopsis of “Gen V” has been revealed: “Set in America’s only superhero-only college (and run by Vought International), Gen V is an irreverent R-rated series that explores the lives of the competitive, Supers who test their physical, sexual and moral limits in a competition for the best contracts in the best cities ”.

It’s partly a college play, partly Hunger Games, with all the heart, satire and humor of The Boys. “

The spin-off of ‘The boys’ will have new faces in its cast, led by Patrick Schwarzenegger, son of the “Terminator” actor, and Chance Perdomo. And in the rest of the “Gen V” cast are Sean Patrick, London Thor, Marco Pigossi, Lizzie Broadway, Shelley Conn, Maddie Phillips, Derek Luh, Asa Germann and Jaz Sinclar.

“Gen V” is the bridge of the third and fourth season of “The Boys”

Just a few days ago, Eric Kripke told Deadline that “Gen V.’ will continue the third season of ‘The boys’, and in addition, it will introduce some new stories that will be preserved for the fourth installment of the main series. So it will be crucial to see it for the followers of the program.

Furthermore, he announced that there will be a crossover between the two programs “and we will do our best to design a universe that sees some of the themes and stories of the third season influence the first season of Varsity (name which until then had ‘Gen V ‘).

And finally he adds some plot details: “There are some things happening in that school that are reactions to the third season of The Boys. There are Soldier Boy, etc., but also new stories that are happening in that season of the spin-off that we hope to gather in the fourth season of the show. ” There is currently no release date for ‘Gen V’.
