Paramount + has released the trailer for a new superhero movie titled Secret Headquarters. Owen Wilson he stars in the film as a superhero who has been chosen by aliens to be the protector of the planet. As you’ll see in the trailer, he’s basically like a different version of Iron Man.
The film is also the protagonist Walker Scobell (The Adam project) as his son, and he and his friends discover his father’s secret and stumble upon some hijacking while playing with his father’s advanced alien technology. A group of villains are alerted after using this technology and those villains embark on a mission to steal these advanced weapons.
Secret Headquarters it is described as “a top-notch family action film, centered on a child discovering the secret headquarters of the world’s most powerful superhero hidden under his home. When evil strikes, he must defend the headquarters with his group of friends. “
The film was directed by Henry Joost And Ariel Schulman (Nerve, power of design,) and looks familiar but fun. This movie isn’t doing anything new, different or unique, but it looks fun. The screenplay was written by Thor: Ragnarok scribe Christopher Yostand is manufactured by Jerry Bruckhiemer.
Wilson and Scobell are joined by Jesse Williams, Keith L. Williams, Momona Tamada, Abby James WitherspoonAnd Michael Peña.
The film will be released on Paramount + on August 12th.
