Paramount + releases release date and key artwork for STAR TREK: LOWER DECKS Season 3

Paramount + has canceled the release date and a key piece of art for the upcoming third season of their animated series Star Trek: Lower Decks.

Created by the Emmy Award winner Mike McMahan (Rick and Morty, solar opposites), “Season three of Star Trek: Lower Decks challenge the USS Cerritos in (hilarious) ways they could never have imagined, starting with a shocking resolution to the epic cliffhanger finale of Season 2.

The Starfleet crew residing on the “lower decks” of the USS Cerritos includes Ensign Beckett Mariner, voiced by Tawny Newsome; Ensign Brad Boimler, voiced by Jack Quaid; Ensign Tendi, voiced by Noel Wells; and Ensign Rutherford, voiced by Eugenio Cordero. Starfleet characters who make up the bridge crew of the USS Cerritos include Captain Carol Freeman, voiced by Alba Lewis; Commander Jack Ransom, voiced by Jerry O’Connell; and Dr. T’Ana, voiced by Gillian Vigman.

Star Trek: Lower Decks will premiere Thursday, August 25, exclusively on Paramount + in the US. Following the premiere, the remaining nine episodes of the long 10-episode season will stream weekly on Thursdays. Check out the new key graphic below and let us know if you’re excited to tune in.
