Ryan Gosling rumor has it that he will take on the role of Nova in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but don’t expect that to happen. In a recent interview, the actor claimed that those rumors are not true. But then he went on to say he wants to play Ghost knight!
The news comes from Happy Sad Confused host Josh Horowitz, who shared on Twitter: “Ryan and I talked about the Nova rumors yesterday that he said are not true. BUT Ryan contacted me this morning to say there is a superhero who wants to play … GHOST RIDER. “
There’s a Nova project under development with Knight of the Moon writer Sabir Pirzada currently in development. I agree with Gosling that he doesn’t take the lead role, actually I think he would be a much better Johnny Blaze aka Ghost Rider! But at the moment we don’t know when we will see a new version of Ghost Rider introduced in the MCU. There was a version of the character in SHIELD agentsbut it wasn’t really connected to the MCU.
