Unknown things 4 star Joseph Quinn, who plays Eddie Munson on the series, recently appeared at London Film and Comic Con. During a panel, the actor burst into tears after a fan stood up to speak on behalf of all the fans thanking him for spending time with them.
The gratitude that was shown touched the actor and did not hold back the emotions. You see, there were reports on social media during the event that security was giving Quinn a hard time for interacting too long with fans while he met them and signed memorabilia. Apparently Quinn was chatting with her fans longer than security would have liked.
One fan shared: “The way Joseph Quinn was treated at the LFCC is fucking disgusting. Staff yelled at him to shut up and sign and not interact with fans. [because] they sold too much and failed to show all the people.
The next day, during a panel with Quinn, a fan stood up and said:
“Mine isn’t really a question, it’s just more an extension of gratitude. Many of us have heard about what happened yesterday, whether it is true or not, about how you were treated. I really want to say that we are really grateful that you are sharing your time. Thank you for signing our things, for spending time with us and for making our summer ”.
“I think we’ve all connected to Eddie for one reason or another. Whether we like his musical tastes or that he is the outsider. I think we are all part of Eddie. We traveled far because we really connected with you too and you made our weekend away.
It is actually very moving. The actor dried his tears and joked: “Why did you do that?”
Eddie Munson is definitely one of my favorite characters introduced in Stranger Things, and I seriously hope we haven’t seen the last of him!
