IFC Films has released a trailer for a new detective comedy titled Turn me aroundwhich leads Alison Brie And Aubrey Square together again for what appears to be a chaotic adventure in Italy. The film was directed by Jeff Baenawho previously worked with the two actresses in The Little Hours.
Here is the synopsis of the film:
It seems like the adventure of a lifetime: a paid trip to Italy, where some lucky managers of an American chain of fast-casual restaurants will take a crash course in culinary art against the backdrop of a panoramic villa. Unfortunately, escape doesn’t always match the pamphlet, and Amber (Brie) soon finds herself juggling mundane training exercises, an unexpected love triangle, and perhaps a treacherous conspiracy during her stay.
Brie and Plaza have great on-screen chemistry and this feels like an interesting and unpredictable ride. It should be a fun and entertaining movie!
The film is also the protagonist Molly Shannon, Fred Armisen, Ayden Mayeri, Ben Sinclair, Tim Heidecker, Debby Ryan, And Lil Rey Howery. It will be released in theaters and on VOD on August 19th.
