Chris Hemsworth is delighted to be able to embody the god of thunder for the fourth time in “Thor: Love and Thunder”. He has already stated that he wants to continue playing Thor until someone tells him to stop, and this has added to Taika Waititi’s return to directing after “Thor: Ragnarok” is giving him a second youth in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. . The twin children, Tristán and Sasha, have a brief participation, being a cameo as the young Thor from the beginning of the film. The eldest daughter of the Hemsworth-Pataky couple, in India, has a bigger role, as she plays the daughter of Gorr, the villain played by Christian Bale, called Lovewhich becomes a key piece of the “Love and Thunder” plot.
Thanks to this important role, Hemsworth showed off his family character to proudly show off his little actress and posted two photos on his official Instagram account. The first, 11 years ago, belongs to the filming of ‘Thor’, the first episode of the Asgardian directed by Kenneth Branagh, and shows us her daughter only a little girl, with Mjolnir almost bigger than her. In the second, the actor appears hugging his daughter on the set of “Love and Thunder”. “Here are two photos of me and my daughter. The first is from the first time he was on set 11 years ago, the other is from “Thor: Love and Thunder”. She is my favorite superhero“.

In an interview with Marvel.com, Hemsworth commented on how much it was like being with his daughter at home and being on set. “It was like when I’m at home and I try to tell him to do something. He says’ Pff, no, I’ll do it my way. And good for her, because he did an amazing job”explained the actor “I love the power that children have at times like this. This is a good reminder for all of us to stay true to who we are and not get caught up in the importance of that.”.
Everything stays in the family
Chris Hemsworth’s children weren’t the only ones in the family to appear, far from it. Elsa Pataky herself makes a brief cameo as a werewolf riding a giant wolf in a flashback of Thor’s past adventures, kissing him. For his part, Luke Hemsworth, Chris’s elder brother, reprises the role of actor of Asgard who plays the same Thor in the plays we have already seen in “Ragnarok”. But the thing goes further Natalie Portman’s sons Bale and Waititi himself also have cameos in the film. Everything stays in the family.
