Already after the release of the first images of Christian Bale in the role of Gorr, the butcher of the Gods, you would realize, if you had read the comics of ‘Thor’, that his appearance has changed a lot compared to that of the cartoons, in practice he has a nose, and it’s not because of a special effects budget. “Thor: Love and Thunder” will be released in theaters on July 8 and brings us a version of the character that retains the gray tone of his skin and his extraterrestrial origin, but has more human characteristics, according to Taika Waititi, director of the film, the the intention was to avoid confrontations with another bad villain: the Voldemort from ‘Harry Potter’.

He explained it in an interview with IGN that the medium posted on Twitter, a video in which the director explains it “His face in the comics, unfortunately, bears some resemblance to Voldemort. So I figured people would automatically make that connection, so we decided to move away from that design, keeping the elements of the tone and the fact that it has a sword. But really his story was the most important thing for us. ”

It won’t be possible in my state. We literally have 3 days between ending a movie and going to Australia for quarantine and all. .that. “I like to spend a lot more time between them, but the pandemic has meant that things have turned out this way.” “Thor: Love and Thunder” will be released in theaters on July 8th and along with Bale, Chris Hemsworth, Tessa Thompson, Natalie Portman, Chris Pratt, Jaimie Alexander, Pom Klementieff, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Sean Gunn, Jeff Goldblum and Vin Diesel complete the cast.
