One of the most exciting things I saw at CinemaCon in April was the trailer for the new film adaptation of Salem lot. It looks like it’s going to be a fantastic and bizarre movie! That trailer has yet to be released, in fact, nothing has been released for the film yet. There hasn’t been any kind of marketing.
But the first image was released. It serves as the cover for the film’s tie-in edition of King’s classic novel.
Lewis Pullman (Bad times at El Royale, Top Gun: Maverick) stars in the film and will play the role of author Ben Mears, “a man who returns to his childhood home in Jerusalem’s Lot in search of inspiration for his next book only to find that his hometown is prey to a vampire. , leading him to join a disorganized group that will fight the evil presence. “
The film is also the protagonist Jordan Preston Carter like Mark Petrie, Alfred Woodard like Dr. Cody, Makenzie Leigh like Susan Norton, John Benjamin Hickey like Father Callahan, William Sadler in a role not yet announced, and was directed by Gary Dauberman (It).
Salem lot will be released on September 9, 2022. You can watch our reaction to the footage we saw at CinemaCon here.
