
FX has renewed itself Jeff Bridges’Fugitive action drama The old for season 2. I haven’t had a chance to start watching this show yet, but I’ve heard great things, so I can’t wait to watch it!
The show is based on the novel by Thomas Perryand the story centers on “Dan Chase who fled the CIA decades ago and has lived off the net ever since. When a killer arrives and tries to take out Chase, the old agent discovers that to secure his future, he must now reconcile his past. With Dan Chase hunted out of hiding, Harold Harper, the FBI’s deputy director of counterintelligence, is called to hunt him down due to his complicated past with the rogue fugitive. When Chase proves more difficult to arrest than authorities expected, a highly trained special operations contractor is also dispatched to pursue him. While on the run, Chase rents a room from Zoe McDonald who taps into reservations he didn’t know he had in order to survive the day he learns the truth about his new tenant.
The series is also the protagonist John Lithgow such as Harold Harper, the FBI’s deputy director of counterintelligence, as well as Alia Shawkat as Angela Adams, Harper’s protege. Then, there is EJ Bonilla, Gbenga Akinnagbe, Amy Brenneman, Bill Heck, Leem LubanyAnd Pej Vahdat.
