As you know, there are misconduct allegations that have been made against Joss Whedon in a New York Magazine profile that was published in January. Whedon previously faced those allegations and denied them.
Well, he’s now Whedon’s longtime friend and collaborator Nathan Fillion she’s talking about him, and he’s by her side. In fact, the actor said he would be working with Whedon again in “a second”.
Fillion was recently a guest of the Inside you podcast, and when asked about misconduct and toxic behavior in the workplace, the actor said, “I read that article and nowhere at no time did he mention Firefly. I had a suit: it wasn’t my experience with that man. He went on to describe Whedon as “funny, self-deprecating, incredibly talented” and “maybe a little obsessed”.
The actor added: “I mean, listen by your own admission that the guy is a work in progress and I appreciate that… I’d be working with Joss again in a second. I would work with him again in a second. “
Whedon and Fillion even talked about continuing the science fiction western Firefly. Fillion shared that “We talk, joke, fantasize” about reviving him, but about doing it without Whedon due to the allegations, the actor said, “It would be heartbreak. How can you?”
I love the Firefly series, and it would be great to see him revived. But I don’t see the point of doing it without Whedon, and I don’t think it will ever happen with Whedon. I’m not sure his career will ever bounce back.
Fillion has worked with Whedon several times on projects such as Firefly, much ado about nothing, And Dr. Horrible’s blog to sing. He has also appeared in episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. She obviously had a very different experience with Whedon than some of these other people who have brought charges against him.
Ray Fisher it was one of the most vocal, but Gal Gadot says she also had problems with him Buffy And Angel star Charisma Carpenter.
