Taika Waititi says it would be a “crime against humanity” not to include the naked Thor scene in THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER

Since the release of the most recent trailer of Thor: Love and thunderfans talked about the scene in which the character of Zeus, played by Russell Crowehas Thor (Chris Hemsworth) chained to a platform surrounded by spectators.

Thor wears a hooded cloak and Zeus says, “Let’s see who you are. I take off my disguise. And run! ” With this, he moves his wrist, pointing to Thor, accidentally taking off all of the Thunder God clothes. The crowd gasps and Thor yells, “You shot too hard, damn it!” People start to pass out and Jane (Natalie Portman) asks Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson) if they should help him, to which Valkyrie replies, “I mean, eventually”, then he offers her a grape.

It’s a pretty hilarious scene and has garnered a lot of attention for the obvious reason why Hemsworth is completely naked! While I recently spoke to ComicBook about his role in Light yearthe director of the film Taika Waititi was asked about the scene, and said:

“We all knew we wanted to do it from the start. It was actually in the first draft of the script and Chris was on board too. You know, I think you have a body like Chris, like, you know, he understands too. That would be right, he would be one. waste not to put it on display. It would be a crime against humanity. So, you know, you have to provide for the masses. ”

Waititi is so funny and he brought such lightness to the Thor film franchise. She hasn’t yet commented on whether this will be her last him Thor movie, and Hemsworth said this could be his latest Marvel outing, but we’ll know more once we see what the film has in store for us.

Thor: Love and thunder will be released in theaters on July 8 and tickets are already available.
