Rosario Dawson shared a nice behind-the-scenes video from her live-action set Star Wars series Ahsoka. The video simply shows her shadow of Ahsoka projected to the ground, but the most interesting thing about the video is the sound. The video arrived with the caption “Original Audio” and there are some pretty funky interesting sounds heard from the set. It’s a funny little tease and I love it.
I recently saw some actual footage from the series at the Star Wars Celebration and it sure wowed Star Wars fans! Dawson is joined by Natascia Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren in the series, and the series will also include Jedi Ezra Bridger and Rebel Alliance pilot Hera Syndulla.
The story follows Ahsoka and Sabine as they search for Grand Admiral Thrawn in hopes that it will lead them to find the lost Ezra Bridger, the young Jedi who disappeared with Thrawn many years ago.
Dave Filoni previously said of the series: “Ahsoka is a continuous story. She’s definitely driving towards a goal, in my mind, instead of being singular little adventures. This is what I want the character to do, and I think that’s what it is. the fans want it now. They have such a relationship with her. It was only recently that I started to realize that all those guys who have seen Clone Wars are now so much older – they are very excited about all the things they grew up with, as it should be . “
I can’t wait to see this series, which will arrive on Disney + in 2023.
