Matthew Lillard reveals a fun truth behind the long -awaited return of Stim to Scream 7

After years of fans’ theories and speculations, the character has officially returned and Lillard has just revealed the hilarious reason why it took so long.

In a recent interview with the US magazine, Lillard explained how Cry Creator Kevin Williamsonwho wrote the original film and now directs the new episode, has finally decided to bring Stud back.

“When I got [Kevin] On the phone that day, I was like ‘you are such a jerk. You said I’m never back. It was like “yes, because you continued to discuss to return and I was trying to distract everyone”.

For years, fans have hypothesized that Stu survived the events of the first film. Lillard admitted that fans’ interest was relentless from the beginning:
