Matt Reeves makes fun of Batman: part II of part II who has never been done “on the big screen

With The Batman: Part II Still a lot from rolling cameras, fans are anxious to find out which member of the Gotham Rogues gallery Robert PattinsonDark Knight will have to face the next. Director Matt Reeves He is not yet ready to overthrow the secret, but has made fun of a great suggestion that the fans who speculate.

Speaking with Josh Horowitz of Happy Sad confused on the Emms Red Rug, Reeves has revealed that he and the co-writer Mattson Tomlin He dug deep in the history of Batman’s comics while modeling the sequel.

“I had many ideas and then with Mattson Tomlin, my writing partner, he started the immersion process in depth in the comics. We sat together and we saw many films, honestly, and not all the films came from the kingdom of Gotham.”

Reeves has continued to emphasize that this new story will further push Bruce Wayne’s personal journey, not only to that of Batman.

“One of the explorations, for me, was to do something that pushed even more in the character of Bruce Wayne because the first story concerns the Batman so much. I have always wanted, in the movies, to ensure me [they were] focused on his character.

“I never wanted to lose Rob at the center of these stories – and that’s what we set our goal. So, we had to choose the bad bad that digs in his past.

“I will not tell you where we ended up, but we are very enthusiastic about it, and I will say that it has never been really made in a film before.”

The last line is very interesting, “it has never been made in a first film” immediately excludes the most abused bad guatham. The Joker, Bane, Two-face, Spaventapasseri, Poison Ivy and Mr. Freeze all had their time on the big screen.

Reeves’ formulation suggests that this could be the first film release for a less exploded but equally compelling Batman enemy.

In 2022, Batman gave us a Gotham on the ground where Pattinson’s young vigilante was torn Paul DanoRiddler. The film also appeared John TurturroCarmine Falcone e Colin Farrelp of the penguin, with Barry KeoghanJoker who makes a chilling cameos. But if Reeves is literal, fans should not expect the clown Prince to be named after the sequel.

Which bad guy will enter the shadows this time? The possibilities range from favorite characters from the cult that have long been neglected to dark figures who could challenge Bruce Wayne in unexpected ways.

A villain that has sprung up in relations over the years has been silent. The real identity of Hush is Dr. Thomas Elliot, a brilliant surgeon and childhood friend of Bruce Wayne, Batman’s alter ego. Driven by jealousy and the desire for wealth and power, Elliot becomes a formidable opponent for Batman.

It adopts the “silence” alias and undertakes a complex and long -standing revenge against the dark knight. Hush is known for his meticulous planning and ability to manipulate various other Batman thieves to achieve his goals. He also uses his medical experience to orchestrate elaborate patterns and his competence in hand -to -hand combat makes him a formidable physical opponent for Batman.

Hush is a great character of Batman and one of the things I liked for the villain is that his bow is characterized by intricate plot, psychological war and a profound exploration of the dark and personal aspects of Batman’s life.

Hush had his face surgically reconstructed to resemble Bruce Wayne and take Bruce’s identity, dismantle his company, kill his friends and allies and mutilate the real Bruce corpse so that he could get rid of Batman. He is a very dark character.

We will have to wait until Batman 2 arrives in the cinemas on October 1, 2027, to find out.
