Channing Tatum states that the greatest error of his career was refusing the beauty and beast of Guillermo del Toro

Just like any Hollywood actor, Channing Tatum He has a project that he would like him to have not refused, but apparently, that project has never managed to have ever come to production.

Tatum played a dancer, an undercover policeman, an Olympic athlete, a video game character, a superhero of Cajun and more, but he would like to have been able to play the beast as a classic character in a non -misunderstood version of Beauty and the beastfrom the mind of the unparalleled visionary, Guillermo del Toro.

In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Tatum explained:

“One of the greatest mistakes of my career: Guillermo del Toro wanted to do Beauty and the beastIts version of the beast. And I had just had a child, I was on a film that was absolutely killing me, and the script was not yet completely there.

“I was just in a place in my head that I was like,” I don’t think I can do it now. “It was the greatest mistake, because they are the biggest fans of Guillermo ever. Beauty and the beast It would have been the sick film ever. “

The busy filmmaker ended up putting this project on the backburner, so it is not known if we will ever see it happen. But perhaps since Tatum made this statement, they could return to make him happen. We will just have to wait and see.
