Olivia CookeWho plays Alicent Hightower in HBO Dragon houseHe is talking about the negativity with which she and her colleagues of the cast have had to do since the second season aired.
While the game of Thrones Prequel continues to be a great success for HBO, not all the reactions of the fans have been kind.
In a recent conversation with the Hollywood Reporter, Cooke explained how some interactions with the spectators crossed the line.
“A photo will run away and then they will be like:” We hate your character! “Sometimes people say it with a lot of malice.”
That frustration only deepened when he described how the cast members were affected with toxic comments online. Cooke said:
“Some fans have been fucking horrible to our cast. It really makes me angry that we should only bow and [pay] It obeys these people who only want to say more degraded and full of hatred things.
“Fortunately, we all experienced it in our own way, and we did it, which is not good.”
The second season of Dragon house It was a point of dispute for some spectators, with complaints about the rhythm and a lack of narrative thrust. But Cooke and the rest of the team are crazy while moving towards the third season already confirmed.
Cooke had previously made fun of what awaits us, saying:
“The first two [episodes] They had to be essentially our ending last year. So you can only imagine entering that type of energy. It is larger and more ferocious than ever. “
No release date has yet been announced, but with Cooke promises that the third season will start with a “bang”, it seems that fans are present for a truly fiery drama when Westeros returns.
