A new trailer was released for the drama film Heddaby the director Nia dacosta (Little Woods, Candyman, Wonders), who directed the photo and adapted the script from the “Hedda Gabler” game by Henrik Ibsen. The film is the protagonist Tessa Thompson, Imogen Poots, Tom Bateman, Nicholas PinnockAND Nina Hoss.
The synopsis recites: “Just married and preciously dissatisfied with life, Hedda (Tessa Thompson), a lover of the weapons of the deceased General Gabler, has just convinced her husband George (Tom Bateman), a shy but ambitious scholar, to organize a sumptuous party that the couple cannot afford.
“In the Guest List is Eileen Lovorg (Nina Hoss), a famous author of a book that explores sexuality – and also George’s key rival for a popular academic post. Hedda sees guests like Pedine in an elaborate game that intends to orcherate with ruthless precision.”
It looks like an interesting movie. Thompson is a great actress and Dacosta told some beautiful stories in her history of cinema. Take a look at the trailer below and let us know what you think. Hedda Hits Prime Video on October 29th.
