Disney has dropped a new great featurette for Tron: AresGive fans a deeper look at how this long -awaited sequel brings the grid into our world. Directed by Joachim RønningThe film continues the legacy of the franchise by expanding its history of programs and artificial intelligence that collide with humanity.
The film focuses on Ares, “a highly sophisticated program, Ares (played by Jared Leto), which is sent from the digital world in the real world in a dangerous mission, which marks the first meeting of humanity with artificial intelligence beings”.
This time, Tron: Ares It moves the action beyond the digital frontier immersed by the neon and in the physical world, creating a history of first contact with AI unlike previous films, it is not just about surviving the grill, it is what happens when its creations enter reality.
Greta Lee Plays Eve Kim, a lonely programming genius that is “analytical and observant” and one of the only human capable of being against the rogue programs. It is described as “one of the best programmers in the world: relegated, anti -calendar and an important denied in stopping the rogue programs”.
Next to her, the cast includes Evan Peters, Jodie Turner-Smith, Cameron Monaghan, Sarah Desjardins, Hasan Minhaj, Arturo Castro, Gillian Andersonand the legendary Jeff Bridges Returning like Kevin Flynn.
The featurette not only shows off the waked designs and the avant -garde effects that fans expect from a tron film, but also teases the stakes in philosophical play. Rønning’s approach seems to root the concept in a more tangible environment, asking what would really mean if a sentient program walked in the midst of us.

Disney is increasing its marketing while the release date closes, with new posters, trailers and videos coming. Tron: Ares It will arrive in cinemas all over the world on October 10, 2025.
