The photos of the Clayface set reveal Tom Rhys Harries who hides a new left look at Gotham City

A new lot of photo set from Clay it emerged and give us our clearer appearance of all time Tom Rhys Harries Like Matt Hagen. The images show the disfigured actor who covers his scarred face with a mask while he leaves the hospital, surrounded by journalists on the streets of Gotham City.

The photos, captured in Liverpool that are located for Gotham, paint a gloomy picture of Hagen’s transformation. After having previously seen him bloody and rushed to the hospital, these new shots capture his first public appearance from the attack that destroyed his features once. His mask could hide the damage, but it is clear that Hagen is not in the mood to face the cameras.

Of course, fans of the character know where he is direct. With the career and identity of Hagen in shattered, it is only a matter of time before turning to the notorious clay formula in the desperate attempt to restore his beautiful aspect. But as history tells us, that research rarely ends well.

In July, the official details confirmed: “Hagen is a beautiful and emerging actor who attacked and disfigured. Originally from Gotham, he moves to Hollywood to escape his troubled past and start a career as an actor. With his disfigurement, his career and his actor is ruined and in the end he is transforming into a Shareshify monster.”

What is still a mystery is the way this version of Clayface will connect to the wider DC universe. Fans are already assuming if Hagen is linked to the same grotesque version that we met in the commands of the creatures who had a strange obsession with the Amazons of Themycira.

Comics readers will remember that Matt Hagen was the second Clayface, which appears for the first time as an adventurer who came across a radioactive pool of protoplasm. Batman: the animated series Subsequently he reinvented him as an actor dependent on a dangerous anti-aging cream created by Roland Daggett. In the end this employed the project for Clayface that most fans recognize today.

James Gunn, Co-Ce di Dc Studios, clarified that this film will be a very different beast:

“We have Clayface, which is a totally different thing. Even if it is in the same universe, it is a complete horror film. This is one of the things we want to do; there is no corporate style. It is not as if every film will be like Superman.”

He continued to explain creative freedom behind the new wave of DC projects:

“The artists, directors and writers, each of them, this is what we want to bring to movies because we don’t want people to get bored.”

Together with Harries, Eddie Marsan AND Max Minghella It will also appear in the film, although their roles remain under the compresses.

Clay It promises to be one of the most daring rumors of the next DC formation and the version guided by horror on the character could offer something truly unique. The film will currently arrive in cinemas on 11 September 2026.
