The seafront He made the waves when he fell on Netflix, climbing quickly to first place and keeping strong for weeks. But despite his debut at the top of the ranking and the loyal audience, the streamer decided to pull the plug on the drama of crime after only one season.

While their fishing empire a powerful time begins to crumble, they are forced to immerse themselves in the underworld to survive.
The series recited Holt McCallanny, Jake Tired, Melissa BenoistAND Maria Bellowith Topher Grace appear in a guest role.
The show was previewed on June 19th and quickly earned traction. He spent five weeks on the list of the 10 best 10 in Netflix, including three weeks sitting at number one. In his first whole week, he collected 11.6 million views. But as many Netflix fans know, the success of the graph does not always guarantee a second season.
The news of the cancellation is broken on Monday evening and Williamson went on Instagram to share his thoughts. Next to a photo behind the scenes with McCallank and Grace, he expressed appreciation for the experience and all those who helped to give life to the show.
“A big thank you to all those who have looked at The seafront. While I am sad that the shots do not return for a season 2, I am celebrating the joy that season 1 was. “
“I had the pleasure of working with a dream cast and a troupe. My heart is full of gratitude for all the people who brought their talents to the show both in NC and la”, he continued.

This cancellation is added to a growing list of recently accelerated Netflix projects, including Detective deadTHE Sandman spin-off e Kaoswho played Jeff Goldblum.
For now, fans will have to settle for a single season of The seafrontA big series of short duration and it is a pity that we will not have a second season.
