Dafne Keen “hopes” to return as X-28 for Avengers: Doomsday

Dafne Keenwho made a fantastic impression like X-23 in Loganwent back in the Marvel spotlight thanks to its appearance in Deadpool and Wolverine. But when it comes to his future in the Marvel cinema universe, things are still in the air, or at least that’s what he is claiming for now.

As he attended Fan Expo Canada, Keen was asked for a possible return in the long -awaited Avengers: Doomsday, and she played him shy. His answer? “I actually have no idea. I hope so.”

No denial. No confirmation. Just to convince Marvel fans to hope that he will be able to resume his role.

After his role as Breakout in Logan, many thought it would be the last one we would see from Laura, alias X-28. But Deadpool and Wolverine He brought it back to a wild multivenal team in which he fought together with Blade (Wesley Snipes), Elektra (Jennifer Garner), Gambit (Channing Tatum) and even a restored Johnny Storm (Chris Evans).

He made another short appearance at the end of the film, gathered with Logan and Wade, who seemed to suggest more to come.

So where leaves it in sight Avengers: Doomsday? The film is in depth in production for a while, and while we have heard many items on X-23 (together with almost all the other characters of the MCU ever), the name of Keen was not included in the first official wave of casting ads.

Having said that, it is difficult to imagine that Marvel left her completely out after bringing it back Deadpool and Wolverine. We also heard that Deadpool could lead his team in the film, and it would make sense to be part of it.

His vague response and the fact that he did not close it completely could be a strategic move. After all, Marvel loves his secrets and Keen could simply play the game in the studio, waiting for Greenlight to overthrow the beans.

Avengers: Doomsday It affects cinemas on 18 December 2026, followed by Avengers: Secret Wars On December 17, 2027. Until then, we will see and wait to see if Keen’s shot has another shot to always cut the largest surrender of the MCU accounts.
