Director Mike P. Nelson (Wrong shift, silent night, mortal night Restive) is the mind behind Sweet revengeA short -shaped horror cartor that was previewed on the YouTube channel of the Jason universe on August 13, 2025. It is billed as “the fulcrum of the bold countryside of the 45th anniversary of the franchise”.
Nelson says: “I am so grateful that the Horror team, Inc. saw something sweet revenge and wanted it as part of the story of Jason Voorhees! And to think that 30 years ago I was trying to secretly watch these films on VHS when no one was watching.
“Having the opportunity to write and direct one of these stories is surreal – not to mention an extraordinary team led by Chad Villella and Brianna Lee Johnson help me to give it life! Not only is the cartoon a new opinion on the beloved IP, but it is a comfortable and comfortable hug, which we remember because we have fallen in love with these films. The man behind the mask is Schuyler WhiteAn actor and stuntman who had already played Jason in a short of Mike P. Nelson. It is officially the first to wear that legendary hockey mask from the 2009 restart.
Sweet revenge He kicks off the wider universe of Jason, a temptular celebration among the media for the 45th anniversary of the franchise. We have Neca Collectibles, a meeting place for Halloween Horror in Universal, and the Crystal Lake Prequel series of A24 and Peacock, which has just started shooting.
