Live-Action of Netflix Avatar: The Last Airbender He is expanding his universe in great style. With the seasons 2 and 3 currently in production, the show is evolving and according to stars Daniel Dae KimFans should expect something very different from what they saw in the first season.
Kim, who plays the fire Lord Ozai, recently spoke to Collider and has made fun of how many things are moving behind the scenes.
“We are in the first block of season 3 and what I can say about the show is that each season grows in scale. If you thought that season 1 was great, wait to see season 3, because there is a change in the way we are turning the seasons 2 and 3 that will make the show very different.”
The back-to-back production program reflects how seriously Netflix is taking this adaptation. After a solid response to the first season, the streamer quarreled for two more seasons to complete the arch of the story. Now the creative team is pushing things beyond, visually and narratively.

“What was really nice in being part of the cast is to look at these young actors growing from episode 1 to today. What they have learned in terms of technique and what they have learned about who they are are really nice to look at.
“You feel so many stories that young actors are changed negatively by this business. But there is something in the environment of that show in which I really feel as if these young actors are nourished, and I really can’t wait to see what they do, not only for seasons 2 and 3 of our show, but beyond their career.”
Season 2 will introduce a wave of new characters while history inserts some of the most iconic arches in the series. Miya Cecch joins the cast as Toph Beifong, together with Chin Han Feng LongJustin Chien Like King Kuei, Amanda Zhou Like Joo Dee, Crystal Yu in the role of Lady Beifong, e Kelemete Mispeka Like the boulder.
