Krysten Ritter He made his Marvel debut like Jessica Jones in the Netflix series that worked for three seasons before Disney+ assumed the Marvel properties and the shows moved. Now that Jones’ co-deforest, Matt Murdock inka Daredevil, has returned to action in the series Daredevil: born againFans are finally getting what they asked with Ritter’s return to season 2.
Ritter was asked tirelessly if it would have been seen in the new series in recent years, and he had to play Coy, but it turns out that he had always knew and had to keep him secret.
While promoting his latest project, the series Dexter: ResurrectionRitter chatted the situation on the Binglingorty Podcast for the playlist. He reflected on the tortuous time during which he had to hide the return of Jones:
“Keeping it a secret was torture. I had known for almost two years, and it’s a long time. For a long time. It was talked about, in the processing of a little state for a long time.
“So, keeping that secret and keeping enthusiasm and waiting until [Marvel] Usfront to announce it, it was how, when he finally came out, I was like “Oh my God!”
“I always pretend I don’t be in New York … I was like,” if it comes out, it’s not for me, because I kept the secret! “It’s really special and exciting. And the team is fantastic and I feel grateful.”
Ritter also spoke of how you feel to revive the private investigator preferred by fans, saying:
“I felt crazy – as if it had not passed time. It seemed celebratory; everyone was so enthusiastic. This is all due to the request of the fans. I really think I came back because the fans were so vocal on Jessica and they felt so passionate with her.
“And I am so enthusiastic about having returned to these iconic boots. This is a character that I love and means so much for me, and it means so much for so many women and men. And the fact that she returns in this huge way is a thrill. And it is a really fantastic team.”
As for what the future holds for Jones in the MCU, nothing has been confirmed, but Ritter said, hopefully:
“I think there are many opportunities for Jessica. I think it’s a great way. I think it brings its flavor and style. And I think you could probably find it everywhere, but I love the road element on the ground.
“And what I have always loved of Jessica is what is deeply personal. I think there is so much in this character. It is so dynamic that it is exciting to be officially in the MCU and to be reported in this way great.
“It is incredible and wild; it is really so rare that something similar happens. So, I am electrified by the fact that Marvel was so surprising and that the fans have brought it back. I am just in seventh heaven.”
Daredevil: born again Season 2 will hit Disney+ in March 2026.
