Rian Johnson is totally relaxed on Star Wars: JJ Abrams’ The Rise of Skywalker

Star Wars Fans have enough familiarity with the fiction of the shooting at the rope The last Jedi AND Skywalker’s ascent. Era JJ Abrams Actively cancel everything Rian Johnson built? Was it a creative clash? A rift of the laser sword between two opposite visions?

According to Johnson himself, it is not so dramatic. In fact, it is good with the way everything has gone.

While you talk to Rolling Stone of the second season of Poker faceJohnson said he had no hard feelings to look at Skywalker’s ascent. He explained:

“When I saw the film, I had a lot of fun watching it. Once again, this is all about the point of view. I never get closer to this as, how, a territory that I am sculpting for my thing.

“In my perspective, JJ did the same thing with the third I did with the second, that he is not digging and ruined it – only by telling the story in the way he was more compelling in the future. This means only validating what happened before, but recontextualizing it and evolving and changing while the story moves forward. I did not feel in some way.”

Johnson continued to add:

“But you are talking about a movie made by my friends, with my friends. I sit down to watch a movie, and it’s a Star Wars movie. They are all things I love. I’m not the one who comes for a criticism that strikes. You can go to YouTube for that.”

Despite The last Jedi By drawing a wave of online backlash in 2017, Lucasfilm clearly had trusted in Johnson’s vision. He was even delivered a new mint Star Wars trilogy. But then Hit It happened, and then its sequels, e Poker face. And now Wake up Dead Man It goes down this December.

It is busy, it is thrived and is not losing sleep for laser swords.

However, he has not excluded a return to the distant galaxy, very distant. If that trilogy had ever gained more traction, he jumped on it.
