Wes Anderson He has a long and fantastic iconic cast track record of iconic ensembles for his films. He receives many big actors and big names involved, but there is a name that has still spoiled him and again … Jodie Foster.
In a recent interview with Collider, Anderson admitted that he has tried to bring the winning actress of the Oscar to her world many times over the years, but without success.
“Over the years, I have had so many films that I have tried to let Jodie Foster enter. It was every film, we went to Jodie Foster for one part.
“And I think I made it three films in a row, maybe four. And I met her, and I liked it. And I thought she would get her. And I think it’s simply fantastic, Jodie Foster. And I loved her.”
He did not pay the details on which films or roles they had in mind, but it is not difficult to guess. Her admiration for her seems to run deep. Foster, apparently, has just been on a different creative wavelength. Anderson added:
“I still would like to get Jodie Foster, but I imagine after asking a few times, I thought that maybe they are not … I think sometimes someone has an idea of the type of work they want to do at that moment in his life, and we were not right.”
It is difficult not to imagine what a custodial in a Wes Anderson movie, it would be fantastic! But perhaps Zfoster is not a fan of Anderson’s narrative and cinematographic style.
