It seems that Marvel Studios is preparing to finally introduce his own version of Norman Osborn in the Marvel cinema universe, and this probably means a new interpretation of the Green Goblin is coming to Spider-man franchise.
The insider Daniel Richtman has recently shared that Marvel is “planning to introduce the Norman Osborn MCU version”. No word still if this happens in Spider-Man: New day Or later along the line, but it’s enough to make the fans speak.
There is no confirmation if Willem Dafoe He is returning. Even if at the beginning of this year, the voices have spread that it could be again in the interviews, Richtman does not develop if Marvel wants to return to Dafoe or if a new actor is observed.
I guess we will see a new actor in the role. While it would be nice to see Dafoe come back again, I’m not sure that Marvel will come back.
The return of Dafoe Spider-Man: No Way Home It was a violent reminder of why his green Goblin is one of the most iconic bad bad guys. Transported to Earth-616 shortly before his death, Norman Osborn went on a chaotic fury: Aunt May murder, psychologically tormenting Peter and almost pushing him beyond the point of no return. And let’s not forget that he stabbed the Tobey Maguire spidey in the back only for a good extent.
When he was “healed” and sent home, Oscorp’s CEO seemed completely destroyed by his actions. But what exactly did it come back to? A new form of temporal sequence with a more Norman Osborn sod? Now is there a multiverse full of heroic versions of Goblin, Doc Ock and Sandman? Multiverse mechanics could be indifferent for migraine, but they certainly leave the door open.
Now, let’s go back to the MCU. In No way homeNorman stated that Oscorp did not even exist in the world of Peter Parker of Tom Holland, but that “fact” could be easily recited and Marvel has all the reasons to do it.
When he prevalently asked him if he would consider the idea of returning like Norman, Dafoe Rise and said: “We’ll see. We’ll see. I could return. Listen. Tom was fantastic to work with and the entire series of Spider-Man’s movies I made was very fun. Fun.”
