James Gunn He is committing to modeling the future of the DCU and Batman fans may want to start paying close attention. According to Gunn, he expects two Batman scripts completed to be in his hands before the end of 2025.
One of these is almost certainly The Batman: Part II. Co-script from Matt Reeves AND Mattson TomlinThe script is already over and delivered, even if Gunn may not have read it yet.
“I was told that it is done,” Gunn said in a recent update, suggesting that he is on his radar. This sequel will continue to take Reeves’ bracket on The Dark Knight, collecting after the events of the first film, with Robert Pattinson Again under the hood.
So what is the second script? It is probable The brave and the boldBatman’s restart in the DCU universe, announced for the first time by Gunn in January 2023 as part of chapter one: Gods and Monsters. Andy Muschietti (The flash) is blocked to direct, but the screenwriter has not yet been officially appointed.
Gunn confirmed that it is in active development and if you expect a screenplay this year, things could be ahead of what we think.
