He brought humor to the adventurous cinematographic franchise and fans will entertain only the idea of another film with his character and the center of his character. But it was not always the confident bet that we know him as today.
Franchise manufacturer Jerry Bruckheimer Recently he sat with the deadline to talk about his most recent film, F1And he was asked about the first time he launched the character of Jack Sparrow to Disney managers. He explained:
“It was interesting, but oh my God, what will we do here? That part was written for a Burt Lancaster. It wasn’t written with humor. I said:” How will we get this past Disney? “And then we gathered with them and had all these golden teeth that wanted to put.
“In the end we convinced Johnny to eliminate some of the golden teeth, but in reality they didn’t know what he would do. And when the dailies arrived, they said:” Oh my God, we had the opportunity to change actors. It won’t work. Is he gay? Is it drunk? What is going on here? ”
“So what we did is that we cut a sequence together and showed it and because it worked. Once they saw it, they went in a certain sense with the race for us, with us.”
It was a good bet, of course, and perhaps one day we will see it in the role.
