Puddles Pity Party, The Singing Clown, has published a video in which he performs a sad cover of the Playhouse musical theme of Pee-Wee in front of a live audience.
The video was made in memory of his friend Paul Reubens who died on July 30, 2023 and is a wonderful tribute. It also includes a “balloons score” for which pee-wee was known.
The video came with the following note: “Oh hello. Here is a sincere interpretation of the playhouse of Pee-Wee’s Playhouse, complete with Fart Balloon relationship, in honor of my dear friend Paul who left this deadly coil for the adventures in the Other. Recorded in front of a living audience. I love Paul …. there are said. The cards are on the table.”
