Zach Boff talks about how JD is different in the Scrubs series restarts – “It is very, very difficult to be a doctor today”

Actor Zach Boff He had a solid career both in front and behind the camera, but it all started with the beloved TV series Scrubto which he is about to return.

The show is returning and with its original creator, Bill LawrenceBehind it, it seems that he is destined to bring some original charm back, however, Boff says he feels as if he should approach his character in a completely new way.

Boff and Lawrence appeared at the ATX TV Festival (through TVLine), where they talked to reporting the show in a way that regains the heart, while recognizing that being a doctor is very different from when JD joined for the first time to Sacred Heart when the show started 24 years ago. BRAFF has entered, affirming:

“When Bill and I shoot ourselves in shit, [we ask ourselves] How do you still have the spirit of [original] Show: the humor and the heart of the show, the fantasies and all the fun things we have all loved?

“The show spoke of a young doctor who entered this new world, so how it is [to be] A doctor who is 50 years old and has been demolished by the system? It is very, very difficult to be a doctor today. “

15 years have passed since the show concluded his first heat and Benff spoke of playing a previous version of his character, saying:

“And what it is [JD’s] Life as now? Obviously, you can still have bromance, love and friendship. But coming from the opposite angle, how is it for a boy who lived this system and has to do with all that stuff for so long? “

When you go hard in a medical drama and really go down to trauma and fatigue, get a show like The PittWhich is fantastic, but it is so tonally opposite by Scrubs. So, if they are trying to be funny, but still be realistic, they will have to find that weak point.

The return series is still in the early stages, but we should hear more while pressing forward. You can’t wait for the Scrub restart?
