Lionsgate released the first trailer for Good luckwhich marks the directorial debut of Aziz Ansariwho also wrote and produced the film. It looks rather fun!
Keanu Reeves The stars in the film as an angel named Gabriel. He is an angel well intentioned but inept that intrudes himself in the life of a gig worker in difficulty (Ansari) and a rich venture capitalist, which is played by Seth Rogen. Sandra Oh AND Keke Palmer also Stella.
Lionsgate film group chair Joe Drake Previously he said in a statement: “We really found good luck with this film. We love the script and we strongly believe in Aziz both as an interpreter and director.
“And when you add Seth and Keanu-due incredible world-class talents-that they top up together with Aziz, this has the potential to be a very special film for us. We moved quickly to land this project once available.”
I love that Reeves is jumping again in a comedy. We see it mainly in action films these days, so seeing him assume the role of an angel budget is very fun!
The film will arrive in cinemas on October 17, 2025.
