For Rick and Morty Fans who resisted the long and unpredictable gaps between the seasons (the season 3 to 4 still live in infamy), we have some good news to share while waiting times between the seasons is reducing.
While season 8 is destined to fall on May 25 on Adult Swim, Showrunner and executive producer Scott Marder He gave I9 an exciting update on a recent press day.
Not only is season 9 almost finished, but the team is already deep in season 10 and attach themselves to a closer time sequence in the future. Marder shared
“Now we are through season 10. So we have a beautiful view of the entire front 10. We certainly have interesting things.”
If this does not make you smile like Mr. Meeseeks, Marder has had even more good news about the season that comes after the imminent one:
“It is almost entirely in color, that it is the last stage. I mean, we are through all the heavy lifting on it. It is an excellent season. We have just started production in season 10, which is also an excellent season. You should get every [new season] one year [after the last one]. “
Rick and Morty He had his right dose of delays, some because of the writing of timing, others due to slowdowns at the sector level such as the 2023 strikes. But Marder’s trust in a more coherent launch is beautiful to hear.
The series has already been illuminated by season 12, so if everything remains on the track, fans could actually get a new season every year without needing to review the entire series for a pure withdrawal.
With season 8 a few weeks later and future seasons already cooking, it seems Rick and Morty has finally stabilized its portal jump program.
It is time to restore the countdown of the season with much less existential terror.
