Jeremy Renner opens on the potential season 2 of Hawkeye and where the story would go

Jeremy Renner He is not excluding a return to the Marvel film universe, but the path of Hawk eye Season 2 is not without complications.

In a recent appearance on Josh Horowitz’s Podcast Sad Confused, Renner turned to the swirling voices of a follow-up season at his Disney+ Hawkeye series of 2021, who played Renner together with Hailee Steinfeld, Tony DaltonAND Florence Pugh.

The great voice is that season 2 would be a gritty, The raid-Style plot involving Clint Barton’s brother. Renner rejected him, saying:

“Maybe a little bit of this is true in there, I don’t know. We found ourselves, a little, in a kind of history and things … everyone is interested in it.

“I’m like” Yes, yes, of course, friend, I wouldn’t say no. “I think there are many ideas: they still have to understand many things.”

As he kept vague things on the details of the plot, Renner clarified that he is still interested in playing the character again even after revealing his wage dispute with Marvel Studios.

Renner recently revealed that Marvel offered him half of what he earned for the first season if he returns.

“I’m like ‘I’m sorry? Why? Did you think you are only half of the Jeremy because I was invested? Maybe that’s why you want to pay for half of what I did in the first season.’ … I didn’t ask for more money, let’s be understood.

“Just pay me what I did he did the first season. So it’s all discouraging that it didn’t happen, but it’s okay. I’m happy to let him go, because my body probably thanks me, from time to time, that I’m not doing it right now. But we’ll see.”

Despite the controversy on wages, Renner remains open on the return, especially if he supports a cause close to his heart.

“They are a game to do it,” he told Horowitz, referring to how work like Hawkeye helps to finance his Rennressation Foundation, which supports custody and young people at risk.

It was also reported that Marvel may have offered Renner only half of her salary because they knew that “she would refuse them so that they shouldn’t have made a second season of the show”.

With regard to Avengers: Doomsday? Renner played well. He dodged the questions about the fact that Clint Barton makes his appearance in the next great team film of Marvel and no official confirmation was made.

So for now, Hawkeye’s factor is still hanging on the wall, but Renner has not yet blocked it.
