Boba Fett fights Anakin Skywalker in a scene deleted by Star Wars: The Clone Wars

There is an epic struggle in the Star Wars universe that the fans have never seen … so far, and involves Boba Fett who fights Anakin Skywalker. Yes, before Boba joined Vader or crosses paths with Han and Mando, he almost took Anakin.

This moment took place in an unpublished arc from Star Wars: The Clone Wars This has recently been shown to Star Wars Celebration Japan and you can watch it below!

During the animation panel of the 20th anniversary, Dave Filoni,Clone Wars The co-creator and now the creative director of Lucasfilm have given fans the clip never seen before an amazed plot.

This was part of an arch who would follow Cad Bane that mentor to a young Boba Fett. Filoni explained the dynamic as if Jango Fett was the “good” father of Boba, and after his death, Cad Bane became his “bad” father.

The video kicks off with Boba that climbs through the Skyways of Coruscant in his Jetpack, intertwining the traffic. Looking from the shadows is Cad Bane, monitoring her protégé.

Warm on Boba’s tail is nothing more than Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker, accelerating it on a bike and exchanging the Blaster Fire fire. It is a high -speed pursuit, full of sketches, flame explosions and narrow curves … until Boba is cut by a vehicle and crashes.

Anakin does not see the crash and speed, giving Boba the opportunity to take revenge. Anakin’s bike is triggered, triggering a complete street struggle. Boba tangled Anakin with an harpoon, makes him stumble, then he goes to ardent guns.

Anakin deflects the explosions with his laser sword, the force resumes the child and presupposes that the fight is over, until Boba launches towards the sky and runs away.

The scene ends with Anakin checking -in with Mace Windu via a hologram. Windu has been injured but says he’s fine. Anakin says to him: “He was a bounty hunter. One I’m not familiar.”

It looks like a beautiful scene with a cinematographic and high energy duel between two characters who will eventually work side by side in the original trilogy. And while this scene is not canonical as it has never aired, it offers a look at a story that we will never fully explore.
