Zach Boff AND Esther McGregor they signed to act Clean handsA true story that digs in the opiate crisis through the lens of a father and daughter captured on the opposite sides of the war on drugs. One is a policeman, the other a drug addict.
The film is written and directed by Jake Allynwhose previous work (Stroll) leaning against the rural determination and the narration led by the character. This time, he is putting his eyes on a heartbreaking story of real life by Hagerstown, Maryland, a small town along the so -called “Herain Highway”.
“Kevin Simmers has guided a drug force built on the incarceration. That is, until the 19 -year -old daughter Brooke started fighting with addiction. Together, they faced a tragic, triumphant and incredible two -year battle.
“Kevin used Brooke has his confidential informant and faced the betrayal of those who trusted the most. In the end, Kevin turned to his badge to create the Brooke house, a revolutionary recovery house for the whole female who since then has saved hundreds of young women who have had to face dependence.”

Braff, mostly known as JD from ScrubIt is not foreign to sincere storytelling. He is currently directing the third season of Thank you And recently it appeared in Apple TV Bad monkey.
His directing ribs gained him an image for the Ted Lasso “Biscuits” episode, and is still recognized for State as a gardenwho wrote, directed and recited.
Esther McGregor continues his ascent with this deeply emotional role. His previous work includes BabygirlPedro Almodóvar’s The room nextand the Obi-Wan Kenobi Series on Disney+. More recently, he recited together with Ewan and Clara McGregor bleeding LovePreviewed in SXSW in 2023.
