Gwyneth Paltrow It may have been an important part of MCU’s The Infinity Saga, but she too cannot believe how many Marvel films have appeared.
During a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Paltrow, who plays Pepper Potts, was informed that it appeared in seven MCU films: Iron Man, Iron Man 2, Iron Man 3, The Avengers, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Avengers: Infinity WarAND Avengers: endgame. His reaction was pure disbelief.
“It can’t be right,” he said. “I can’t have been seven. It’s true?”
This is not the first time that Paltrow has been caught off guard by his involvement Marvel. Fans will remember the now infamous moment in which he has completely forgotten to be inside Spider-Man: Homecoming. He explained why in the interview, shedding light on Marvel’s notoriously secret approach to the cinema.
“They think they are the CIA or something over there, which is like national secrets,” he joked. “Type, who is doing what-either because I didn’t know I was in Spider-Man. They never said. There were no signs that said Spider-Man. The screenplay did not say Spider-Man. It’s all secret.”
That level of secrecy is something for which Marvel is known, but it clearly has its side effects for the actors who are actually in the films.
In the meantime, the Marvel car continues to roll. Thunderbolts* it is the next, and Daredevil: born again He continues his race on Disney+. We too have The Fantastic Four: First Steps most coming this year.
There is no official word if we ever see Paltrow return to the MCU, but there are rumors that could. If he does, in the end he will forget about it.
