Actress Lexi Mineree (Murdaugh’s murders) was chosen in the main role of a young Elle Woods in Legally blonde Prequel series that are heading first. Mineree was one of the competing finalists for the role originally played by Reese Witherspoon In the successful romantic comedy Legally blonde (2001) and its sequel Legally blonde 2: red, white and blonde (2003).
Witherspoon broke the news on the casting through social media, saying:
“Allow me to introduce you to the new Elle Woods! After seeing so many incredible auditions for the new series of Elle prequel on @primevideo, we finally found our Elle. And today I have to break the news! Meet @leximinetene “
The series, entitled Elle He follows Elle Woods at high school while we learn the life experiences that modeled her in the young iconic woman we met and love in the first Legally blonde Movies.
Creator Laura Kittrell (High school, Insecure) It is co-showrunner and executive producer together with Caroline Dries. Reese Witherspoon, Lauren Neustadter, Lauren Kisilevsky and Marc Platt are also executive producers.
